What is the Northern New England Learning Network?

The NNE Learning Network is a collaboration among Family Medicine residency programs across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. It focuses on strengthening primary care education, practice, and research through shared learning and innovation.

Who participates in the Learning Network?

Programs from Central Maine, Dartmouth, UVM, Maine Medical Center, and others participate, including newly launched Teaching Health Centers.

Activities & Events

What events are hosted by the Learning Network?

The Network hosts three major convenings per year, monthly webinars, focused virtual meetings, and an online asynchronous forum to engage program staff, faculty, and residents.

Collaboration

How do collaborative projects work?

Six projects per year are supported, involving two or more programs, with shared tools and presentations at regional conferences.

Impact & Evaluation

How is success measured?

Participation rates, resource use, survey feedback, and shared outputs are tracked to assess engagement and impact.

Logistics

What is the current project timeline?

The current grant cycle runs from June 2024 through July 2027.

How are time constraints addressed?

All events are recorded and available asynchronously. Dedicated staff manage logistics to reduce the burden on participants.
